Anything we have missed?

Call us on 0447 026 713 or send an enquiry. One of us will answer.

Do we have the property to ourselves?
Always. Immerse is one house on twenty private acres and only ever accepts one booking at a time. There are no other guests, no shared spaces and no staff on site unless you have asked for them.
What is waiting for us when we arrive?
A bottle of island sparkling, D'Estrees Bay Bakery sourdough, Fleurieu milk and South Australian butter, locally roasted coffee and loose-leaf tea, Kangaroo Island olive oil, pantry basics, a Kangaroo Island Spirits library with mixers and garnishes, island estate wines and brewery ales. Linen, beach towels, robes and slippers, Kangaroo Island Skincare, split wood and kindling, wifi and Netflix.
How do we reach Kangaroo Island?
By sea with SeaLink from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw, or by air with Qantas into Kingscote. From the Penneshaw ferry terminal it is a fifty-minute drive to the house. A four-wheel drive is not required, though Osmanli Road is a private track and can be rough in places.
What are check-in and check-out?
Arrive from 3pm and leave by 11am. Entry is by a key safe, with the code sent by email or SMS before you travel. The fires will be lit or the windows open, depending on the season, and the sparkling will already be cold.
Is Immerse suitable for children?
The house was designed with families and groups in mind, and sleeps eight adults across four bedrooms. Heating comes entirely from slow combustion fires in every room, which we ask you to consider carefully for children under twelve. The bedrooms are also separated by a bathroom, which is worth weighing up with very young children.
How do rates and the minimum stay work?
Immerse is booked as an entire property, never by the room. There is a three-night minimum year-round, and rates include up to 4 guests. Additional guests are $100 per person, per night, to a maximum of eight. Book three nights directly with us and the fourth is on us.
Are pets welcome?
Sorry, no. Immerse sits on the doorstep of the Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park and Wilderness Protection Area, and we protect the wildlife that lives there.
Is there accessible access?
The house was not specifically designed for accessible access. Please get in touch before booking and we will talk through the property honestly with you.
